Land of the Amethysts

You've heard of "Emerald City", in the Wizard of Oz. How about a "Land of the Amethysts", where the sky is light purple, and some of the mountains are made of giant amethysts gleaming in the sun? With his smooth, purple antlers, the deer is apparently a native of this strange land. Where will the path through the stone arch take him? I combined some of my drawings in Adobe Photoshop and added the color to create this piece.
